Perma Facial Implant featured on "The Doctors" television show
SurgiSil is pleased to announce that we have been featured on “The Doctor’s” show, a syndicated medical reality television show that brings new ideas and products to its audience. Dr Drew Ordon, who is the Plastic Surgery representative on the Doctor’s panel, performed a lip enhancement procedure live on a female patient using the Perma Facial Implant. The patient looked fabulous afterward and Dr. Ordon was singing the praises of the new technology.
The Doctor’s show is syndicated nationally and may be seen on many of the ABC or CBS affiliates. SurgiSil is a medical device company whose flagship product is marketed as Perma Facial Implant in the U.S. The implant has FDA clearance for cosmetic enhancement of the face in such areas as the cheek, chin, and nose. The implant is marketed in Europe as PermaLip, where it is CE Marked for enhancement of the lips. Multi-center clinical results presented at 2008 meeting of Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons
SurgiSil, LLP is pleased to announce that six month results for U.S. based multi-center clinical trial evaluating safety/effectiveness of the PermaLip/Perma Facial Implant was presented by Dr. Christine Carmine Stiles, A Frisco, Texas-based plastic surgeon. The study results demonstrated a success rate in excess of 96% in the patients enrolled in the study. The results are part of an on-going two year multi-center pivitol study.

SurgiSil LLP begins nationwide surgeon training for new Perma Facial Implant
SurgiSil, LLP, a Texas based company specializing in products for the Plastic Surgery industry, announced today that, as of last week, it began formal training of U.S. based plastic surgeons in the use of their new product, Perma Facial Implant.
Finding suitable solutions for soft tissue augmentation of the face has been an ongoing challenge to plastic surgeons. Often relying on temporary injectable fillers that are costly, painful, and requiring repeated treatments every few months. Surgeons and patients alike have searched for a better solution for soft tissue augmentation that is safe, permanent, and is easily reversible.
The Perma Facial Implant is made from a soft, solid silicone elastomer using an injection-molding process to produce a naturally contoured implant with a smooth, non-porous surface. The implant was developed five years ago by plastic surgeons in response to the need for a product that is safe, reliable, and offers permanent results.
The thirty-minute procedure is typically carried out in an office setting under local anesthesia. Perma Facial Implant received FDA clearance as a facial implant in September, 2007.

Eurosurgical Ltd, who specialize in the sales and marketing of surgical equipment, this week announced it was to become the sole UK distributor of ‘PermaLip™’- the groundbreaking cosmetic lip implant.
